Complying with statutory regulations and internal rules, and the principles laid down in our Code of Conduct has top priority at Italdesign. Acting lawfully and ethically is essential to protect Italdesign’s reputation, maintain the trust of customers and business partners, safeguard the wellbeing of employees and ensure sustainable economic success without exposing the company to significant risks such as fines, financial penalties, compensation claims or criminal investigations.

To meet these aims, it is important to learn of potential employee or supplier misconduct and to put a stop to it.

Therefore, Italdesign offers various channels through which conducts potentially inappropriate or that might be in breach of the values stated in the company’s Code of Conduct, in the Organizational Model as per Italian Legislative Decree n.231/2001 (where applicable), in the corporate Policies and procedures can be reported in a confidential and reserved way:

• in written form through the “Italdesign Integrity Line” portal, which is accessible from the Italdesign website and from the corporate intranet, within the Compliance, Integrity and Risk section;
• in written form, in cases where the reported matter may concern violations relevant under Legislative Decree n.231/2001, by sending a written report to:
  • Organismo di Vigilanza, Via Achille Grandi 21, 10024, Moncalieri (TO) on plain paper, or
  • odv@italdesign.it via e-mail;
• in oral form, through the “Italdesign Integrity Line”, using the option that allows you to record a voice message or by calling the dedicated telephone number indicated on the platform.

Whistleblowers also have the right to request a direct meeting with the Compliance Officer for the purpose of submitting a report.
Such a meeting will be arranged within a reasonable timeframe.

A key pillar of our Whistleblower System is the principle of procedural fairness. It also guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, persons implicated and employees contributing to the investigation of reported misconduct.

This also includes offering opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. Retaliation of whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Italdesign will not be tolerated. Persons implicated are presumed innocent until the violation is proven. Investigations will be conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information will be processed in a fair, fast and protected process.
