What's most desirable than a limited series?

During the 70s, 80s and 90s, Italdesign had the chance to take care of small productions for projects such as BMW M1, Volkswagen W12, Italdesign Aztec and BMW Nazca.

Production of limited series dates back to the 70s when at Italdesign facilities a series of 450 BMW M1 was started.

In 2016, the company decided to reinforce its service portfolio adding the turnkey services for the production of ultra-limited series for third parties.

Starting from the production of its own brand vehicle, ZeroUno, the business area dedicated to ultra limited series has been grounded, including specific teams to support these projects: Design, Development, Production, Assembly, Testing, Homologation, Sales, Aftersales.

The specificity of these projects requires dedicated areas and teams, with specialized competencies and expertise to drive the project towards the deserved excellence.

Italdesign develops all the E/E and User Experience features, including the complete lighting systems. It also produces in-house all the tools for parts production and first prototype assembly, which will be used for the validation phase. After tests on mule and proto vehicles, a final release of the car is done, according to the required quality standards.

In the last years, the company has made significant investments in technology and training for the development of ultra-limited series vehicles, supporting the world’s major OEMs to produce their special series.

Customer Journey, Experience and Satisfaction are core elements of Italdesign’s activities and projects. The team offers comprehensive B2C Aftersales support.
