Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of HV Batteries System BMS Software at Project Level;
• Steering BMS Software suppliers;
• Updating BMS functional specifications and requirements;

• BMS software application and calibration activity on Vehicle;

• Definition of a V&V testing strategy and synergetic testing plan;
• Performance of maturity level tests;
• Confirmation of the planned maturity levels of all vehicle functions;

• Coordination and tracking of all V&V activities for the system and sub-systems;
• Creation of status reports including risk analysis and escalation in case of deviations;

S/He will be responsible to reach the targets of the assigned field of development.

Responsibilities

• Perform virtual CAE analysis to support the understanding of physical phenomena and contribute proactively to the search for technical solutions;
• Create the virtual model of the project car;
• Analyze and evaluate the results of the calculations/simulations envisaged by the project and propose technical solutions;
• Act as center of competence for simulation of composites materials in the department;
• Creation of the virtual model, including the proper choice of modeling methodology;
• Outcome management: critical evaluation of the observed phenomenon, verification of the target achievement and communication of the results:

1. Processing: management of the simulation process with the use of dedicated solvers and specific tools;
2. Post-Processing Results Analysis: analysis of simulation results with the use of dedicated post-processors and specific tools.

Italdesign is looking for a Connected Car Specialist to take a lead role in the development of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems for the technical area of Connectivity.

The candidate will be employed in the Infotainment, Connected Car and User Interface team of the Electrical/Electronics Engineering department in the Moncalieri HQ of Italdesign in Italy.

After an orientiation phase, the successful candidate will work within a specific customer project and fully be responsible for the Connected Car topics.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Manager and adhering to all necessary requests;
• Understand the E/E car architecture to accommodate requests for the connectivity of the infotainment system in the car including to other cars (V2V) and backend server infrastructure (V2I);
• Establish and maintain an overview of the customer’s entire automotive cloud ecosystem (incl. Backend technologies), in order to be able to identify and adapt protocol requirements to achieve the required Connectivity goals;
• Support the development of advanced infotainment features/functions and their documentation in the requirements tool chain;
