Italdesign Deutschland is expanding its engineering activities in automotive Interior Trims Department and is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Functions Development Specialist, located in Ingolstadt, who will be one of the referent of the Seat and Luggage compartment Headquarter Team in Moncalieri (Italy). S/he will be responsible to reach the targets of the assigned field of development.
Responsibilities
The role, focusing on the interdisciplinary definition, implementation, testing and release of a function (end-to-end), aimed at the development of seats-functions within a vehicle development project. Required at least up to 5+ years of experience in the automotive sector.
S/he will take an active part in:
· Definition, specification and implementation of a function from concept start to end of production;
· Definition and preparation of functional requirements and demanding implementation;
· Tracking of function timing according to project milestones including maturity-level planning;
· Ensure compliance to internal requirements, specifications and applicable Laws of the relevant markets;
· Definition of test instances/matrix and test plan (i.e. in-vehicle, on HiL, ..);
· Ensure alignment on technical specifications between team work, departments and customers, reporting the functional progress to management and project stakeholders;
· Systemic functional responsibility (interaction with HW/SW applications);
· Interface with other function development specialists to define and manage function impacts on other domains;
· Coordination of functional content with platform developers/users or module developers/users in the Group and definition of the Group module strategy;
· Coordination between interfaces (i.e. vehicle safety, comfort electronics, wire-harness);
· Control of the implementation of functional architecture and test-cases also in the overall vehicle architecture;
· Work-team interaction and collaboration with other departments;
· Control/monitoring of timing, costs and quality of work;
· Achievement of project’s technical objectives relevant to the field of responsibility;
· Management of "escalation" process related to issues, with a proposed solution.
