The two door, hatchback coupé was fitted with a brand-new, mighty 6.3 litre, 555 hp W18 engine.

The EB 118 made its debut at the Paris motor show in 1998 with a gigantic engine of a type never before designed for a motor car.

The bulk of the engine dictated the lines of the front end.  The bonnet was designed so that it bulged up from the wings and was grooved by a rib in the centre to contain the 18 cylinders.

The interior reflected typical aesthetic themes of Art Deco Style.
