Innovative but not revolutionary, that's the Maserati Coupé commissioned to Italdesign in 1969.

Two seats Coupé with back engine, Bora recalls the statement of the first Maserati designed by Giugiaro, the Ghibli.

High tale without an extended second light, a belt line that grows up to the back and a very sinuous front fender.

Even with the cowling  there is a recall to the Ghibli, while the pillar and the roof are really bold: in brushed steel they are in contrast with the rest of the bodywork.

There are 550 samples of this car.

Bora gives rise to the Merak, a derivation with 2 litres engine.
