The partnership agreement between Italdesign and the Politecnico di Torino, signed in 2017, extends to the next five years and enriches, to strengthen a collaboration consolidated over time further and to speed up the process of internationalization of research and training activities.

Announced today, April 5, 2022, in the Rector’s Boardroom of the University in Turin, the collaboration activated will particularly focus on Individual Sustainable Mobility Systems, on Car Network Architecture for Future Mobility Needs, especially Autonomous Driving, and on the possibilities AI offers when applied to Vehicle Development.

As for the teaching activities, higher education and permanent training, the partnership will specially deal with the development of theses, projects and internships; the financing of Doctoral scholarships and research grants; the use of laboratories and structures for research and development activities; the organization of events, talks and conferences; the support to didactic activities aimed at students, such as the Challenge@PoliTo, the planning of 2nd level Master.

Furthermore, the partnership will foster the promotion of the internationalization of research and training activities, by participating in European and international projects; the development and furthering of activities of common interest by ways of the international network contracts the Politecnico and Italdesign have; the promotion of activities for the diffusion of scientific and technological culture on the territory and the organization of events in synergy with other local authorities.
