Body & Comfort Electronics Function Developer

Italdesign is looking for an electronic/ mechatronics/ automotive engineer willing to join a young team, taking care of development of Body and Comfort related ECUs and functions, dealing with an international customers’ portfolio both inside and outside the VW Group.


Responsibilities


  • Main Responsible for the development/integration of Electronic control units and functions inside the vehicle for the body & comfort electronics perimeter
  • Project status reporting
  • Technical agreements with all included parties
  • Project and Supplier steering
  • SW Release management in the tracking systems
  • Steering and Tracking of the testing activities.

Requirements

Key requirements


  • Good Knowledge of Electronic System and function development
  • Good knowledge of automotive functional architectures
  • Handling of Vector CANoe and CANalyzer
  • Knowledge of the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.)
  • Ability to manage complex timelines/deadlines related to SW releases and change requests.
  • Used to work independently being able to share knowledge with the team, Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.


Preferential requirements


  • Previous experience in the automotive field (at least 2 years)
  • Required (OEM, Tier1/2, Engineering specialist), focus on Comfort Electronic perimeter (Body Control Module/ Door ECU/ Clima ECU)

Additional Information


Education: Master Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Automotive Engineering

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
