The role acts as a key technical reference for OEM customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, coordinating multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire vehicle development process
Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end ownership of complex automotive development projects within the assigned technical perimeter
- Leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities and timing
- Primary technical interface with OEM customers, supporting decision-making and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Governance of project planning, execution, escalation and risk management processes
- System-level integration of vehicle body components, ensuring performance, feasibility, quality and compliance
- Monitoring and control of project timing, costs and resources, in line with defined budgets and business case assumptions
- Management and coordination of suppliers, including planning, milestones definition and validation of deliverables
- Preparation and presentation of project status, risks and decisions to management and customers
- Contribution to department growth through mentoring, knowledge transfer and lessons learned activities
Requirements
Key requirements
- Proven senior experience in automotive project leadership roles with focus on Interior Trim
- Strong capability to manage complex technical interfaces and system-level trade-offs
- Deep knowledge of vehicle development processes, milestones and project targets
- Advanced knowledge of CATIA V5 and CAD development and release processes
- Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively manage timing, costs, resources and risks in complex projects
Preferential requirements
- Knowledge of automotive legislative and homologation constraints
- Experience working in OEM customer environments
- Experience in supplier management and coordination
- Knowledge of the German language
Other Informations
Education:Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background and professional experience
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
