Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of advanced Infotainment System main unit;
- Ensuring that the component is aligned with the overall project strategy and goals;
- Project status reporting in internal and external meetings;
- Interfacing with stakeholders to guarantee product readiness during all development phases, including pre‑SOP, SOP, and post‑launch lifecycle.
- Supplier steering and coordination.
Requirements
Key requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in the Automotive field (Tier1/OEMs) as component owner of an electronic control unit;
- Strong ability to manage complex technical topics and propose viable solutions;
- Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, structured messages for both technical and non‑technical audiences;
- Experience in planning the development of new/updated hardware and software and release to production;
- Familiarity with industrialization process;
- Familiarity with main automotive regulations affecting electronic components, including safety, EMC, cybersecurity and software update.
Preferential requirements
- Familiarity with radio type approval processes for ECUs with focus on infotainment and connectivity modules, including the regulatory frameworks and market-specific requirements;
- Knowledge of hardware validation process;
- Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall;
- Experience with project management tools, such as Jira;
- Familiarity with Infotainment System Architecture including hardware, software and user interfaces.
Other Informations
Education: Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or similar
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of Italian and German would be appreciated
