Facilities Engineer

Italdesign is seeking a technically skilled professional to join the Facilities area, reporting directly to the Head of Security and Corporate Services. The role supports the technical and operational management of company sites, ensuring continuity of services, maintenance of infrastructure standards, and contribution to key building and plant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operational management of company sites, including office areas, technical areas, and production spaces;
  • Coordinate maintenance activities related to building systems (hard services) and general services (soft services), excluding HSE responsibilities;
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team and dedicated external personnel, including supplier management;
  • Participate in the planning and execution of construction projects, refurbishments, and space planning activities;
  • Support tender processes and contract definition in cooperation with the Procurement function;
  • Provide operational support for activities related to the ongoing Headquarters refurbishment project;
  • Contribute to the implementation of processes, procedures, and operational standards within the area.


Requirements


Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in facilities management, plant management, project management, or similar technical functions;
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance processes;
  • Familiarity with relevant building and plant regulations;
  • Experience in supplier management and coordination of operational activities;
  • Preferable knowledge of sustainability protocols such as LEED;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and service‑quality orientation.

Education: University degree in Engineering or similar.

Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
