The role is responsible for the technical development and coordination of BIW – Exterior Trim components within vehicle development projects and for achieving the assigned technical.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate development of Body in White, Ext. trim components
- Monitor timing, cost, quality
- Manage team activities
- Coordinate suppliers and internal departments
- Interface with customer on technical topics
- Ensure achievement of technical targets
- Manage critical issues / escalations
- Ensure alignment across involved teams
Requirements
Key requirements
- 5 years experience in automotive development
Knowledge of:
- Body in White
- Knowledge of:
- Materials
- manufacturing technologies (stamping, milling, HPDC, plastic injection molding, surface treatment, composite)
- assembly processes (screwing, rivets, Spot resistance welding, gluing)
- GD&T;
- tooling lead time;
Ability to:
- Translate technical targets → process / economic constraints
- Manage suppliers
- Coordinate teamwork
- Handle critical situations and priorities
- Knowledge of Design processes (design review, robust design, FMEA)
Preferential requirements
Knowledge of:
- CAD and modeling (basic CATIA V5, NX / Unigraphics, data release processes)
- OEM processes and development flow
- Homologation / regulatory constraints
- Testing and validation methods
- Ability to transfer methodology and know how in your own project team and to the rest of the department team.
Other Informations
Education: Technical High School degree, bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials engineering or equivalent;
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
Workplace: Moncalieri (TO) and availability to travel
Compensation package
Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL)
Italian National Metalworkers’ Collective Labour Agreement.
Base Salary (RAL)
The gross annual base salary offered for this position will be no less than € 36.000
Final Compensation
The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, competencies and qualifications, and on the applicable role level, in line with the company’s internal compensation framework. The final salary may therefore be higher than the minimum amount stated above.
Variable Compensation
