The O.S.C.A. MT6 marks the return of O.S.C.A. – Officine Specializzate Costruzione Automobili, the historic marque founded by the Maserati brothers in 1947. Conceived to combine Italian sporting heritage, contemporary design, and advanced technologies, the MT6 introduces a new vehicle concept defined as a Sportover: a performance-oriented compact coupé crossover characterized by dynamic proportions and a strong visual identity.
The design stems from the collaboration between the Fabbrica Italia Design Centre and Italdesign, reinterpreting the styling cues of O.S.C.A.’s sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s through a contemporary lens.
Combining sporty character with compact proportions (4,515 mm in length, 1,870 mm in width, 1,565 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,710 mm), the MT6 features a coupé-crossover silhouette defined by sculpted surfaces, pronounced wheel arches and a rising beltline that accentuates its dynamic stance. The front end recalls the design language of historic O.S.C.A. road cars through a distinctive grille treatment, while the rear emphasizes the vehicle’s performance-oriented character with an integrated diffuser and quad exhaust outlets. Rear door handles integrated into the C-pillars contribute to the overall purity of form and reinforce the continuity of the body surfaces.
The interior combines sportiness, comfort and the craftsmanship traditionally associated with Italian automotive design.
Based on the Changan platform, the MT6 has undergone dedicated vehicle development aimed at enhancing driving dynamics, performance, and overall driving engagement.
