The design of the New Pendolino for High Speed is the result of one year and six months of studies and research in collaboration with Alstom Ferroviaria, aimed at vehicle performance levels and all aspects involving the functionality, user-friendliness and comfort required by the precise and ambitious Guidelines of Trenitalia for this programme: a historical turning point in Italian railway transport.
The interior is enhanced by the widening of the main section of the train and offers an expansion of the spaces for access and of those for accommodation in the compartments: the effect is that of an advanced yet elegant technological carrier, meeting the expectations of an increasingly exacting user.
The new compartment seats are fitted with a technical column and associated audio-module with power sockets for electronic devices.
The bar/bistrot setting has a flat ceiling, mirrors and other distinctive furnishing solutions.
