A boldly designed concept car that embodies thrill and pleasure of driving, making them accessible to a new generation that loves speed, aesthetics, and freedom. A manifesto of style and innovation that dares, provokes, and redefines sportiness by drawing inspiration from icons of the past. This is Rapida, developed by the students of the Master in Transportation Design at IED Torino in collaboration with Italdesign.

The connection between academic training and business finds expression in Rapida, a visionary project born from the collaboration between IED Torino and Italdesign.
Conceived and created by the students of the Master in Transportation Design at IED Torino, and developed in collaboration with Italdesign professionals, Rapida is a new 2+2, sporty, compact, versatile fastback model with 3 doors, capable of adapting to different engines, with clean and tense lines.
Designed to meet the desires and needs of Generation Z youth, who, like young people from other generations, want to have fun driving, Rapida draws inspiration from those cars that play significant roles in manga, becoming integral parts of the plot and real visual elements.
Rapida captures the essence of JDM, creating connections between generations, as it unites parents and children in a shared passion for cars.
