The Itala brand returns to the market with the Itala 35, the first model of the Historic Italian Brands relaunch program promoted by the DR Group, design by Italdesign.
The SUV is the result of an integration of shared industrial platforms developed with international partners, specifically the GAC Group, and Italian design expertise.
Italdesign’s design team worked from an existing technical base, focusing its intervention on the front and rear, redefining non-structural elements and integrating existing components such as the lighting units. The design is defined yet balanced; the grille takes on a strong identity role, while attention to detail, such as the mesh pattern, symbolically references both the Itala brand and the city of Turin.
The aim of the project was to create an immediate sense of renewal while maintaining a balance between continuity and innovation.
The Itala 35 paves the way for future developments of the range, which will also include the Itala 56 and Itala 61.
