Responsibilities
- Coordinate the technical team and foster competence development through mentoring, coaching, and structured growth plans;
- Provide technical input and assessments for strategic initiatives and projects;
- Define, measure, systematically update, and continually improve processes and related documentation under own responsibility;
- Ensure compliance with quality objectives and systematically manage risks on processes under own responsibility;
- Guarantee product and process conformity according to the assigned role;
- Take the lead for the domain in competence transformation for IDG by preparing and organizing training sessions and presenting regular technology updates for management reviews;
- Practice continuous professional development to maintain competence at the highest level;
- Customer management: act as technical interface for customers on connectivity-related projects;
- Present domain competences during customer meetings;
- Support sales with technical material when pitching to potential customers;
- Identify potential innovative processes and projects;
- Supplier steering: manage and steer suppliers to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements.
Requirements
Key requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in managing and coordinating technical teams within complex projects;
- Proved experience in complex project management;
- Knowledge of communication protocols and radio solutions;
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments;
- Experience with other wireless technologies (e.g., Cellular, GNSS/Location, UWB, NFC);
- Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills;
- Ability to organize and motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;
- Sense of responsibility and integrity;
- Priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience.
Preferential requirements
- Proven experience in the automotive sector, with strong expertise in product development processes and connectivity solutions;
- Proven experience working within the VW Group;
- Solid background in the automotive industry and established knowledge of customer stakeholders;
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration systems (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes);
- Understanding of V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication technologies and related standards.

Additional Information
Education: University degree in telecommunication, electronic or computer science engineering, IT, or related discipline.
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
