Hybrid, compact, light and eco-friendly: the perfect car for town traffic and leisure use due to its fully opening roof.<\/p>\n

The Lucciola<\/b> was created to reinterpret<\/b> and combine the concepts of leisure<\/b> and eco-friendliness<\/b>.<\/p>\n

It takes the form of an electrically-driven hybrid car<\/b> with sparkling performance<\/b> made out of recyclable<\/b> materials<\/b> and an aluminium body<\/b>. The Lucciola<\/b> is multi-purpose and practical<\/b> because it can be converted<\/b> from a closed<\/b> car<\/b> to an open-topped<\/b> car<\/b>. It is particularly well suited for leisure<\/b> use.<\/p>\n

Due to its clean power unit <\/b>and small size<\/b>, the Lucciola<\/b> would be allowed to drive<\/b> freely<\/b> even around town centres that are often closed to traffic<\/b> due to problems of atmospheric pollution<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Lucciola<\/b> received its world premiere at the Bologna Motor Show<\/b>, the ideal event for the launch of a youthful<\/b> and dynamic<\/b> car<\/b> destined for leisure use<\/b>.<\/p>\n

A development<\/b> of the ID Cinquecento<\/b>, a static model developed for the 1992 Turin motor show<\/b>, the Lucciola<\/b> was to give rise to the extremely high-selling Daewoo Matiz<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The Lucciola<\/b> is equipped with a 5.5 kw twin cylinder catalysed diesel engine<\/b> and two electric motors <\/b>positioned on the rear wheels<\/b>, each with a power<\/b> of 7kw. The hybrid system <\/b>guarantees a speed<\/b> of 100 km\/h and a range amounting to 8 continuous hours with the hybrid system <\/b>or 50 km using only the electric drive<\/b>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
