The first extra deluxe Bugatti saloon by Giugiaro: the classic lines of the historical French manufacturer reinterpreted with creative freshness and sinuous movement.<\/p>\n

The research that led to the creation of the EB 112<\/b> arose out of a close analysis of Bugatti<\/b> saloons<\/b> of the past in order to fully appreciate the creative genius behind them and recover the aesthetic<\/b> and functional starting points <\/b>required to convey the same expressive force.<\/p>\n

The influence of formal retro hints <\/b>is evident, particularly from models of the 1920s and 1930s, such as the Atlantic<\/b>, the Tipo 55 2 door <\/b>and the Tipo 32 Tank <\/b>and 57 Tank<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Great luxury <\/b>was also evident inside the passenger compartment<\/b>, created using leather<\/b> and walnut<\/b> but without renouncing high-tech equipment <\/b>such as a videotape system <\/b>and small monitor<\/b> positioned in the dashboard<\/b> in front of the passenger<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The engine<\/b> was located in a front mid position<\/b>, in other words within the wheelbase<\/b> and not straddling the axle<\/b>. This achieved the effective balancing<\/b> of weight<\/b> that gave the EB 112<\/b> its superior stability<\/b> and handling<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The transmission<\/b> was permanent four-wheel drive <\/b>and the aspirated engine<\/b> was derived from the unit<\/b> fitted to the EB 110<\/b>: a 6000<\/b> cc V12 <\/b>with five valve heads<\/b>.<\/p>\n

The result of cutting-edge technology <\/b>with an aluminium body <\/b>and carbon<\/b> chassis<\/b> never before fitted on a car<\/b> of this type, the EB 112 <\/b>set out to be an authentic<\/b> Bugatti<\/b>, that encapsulated the dual vocation of the great brand<\/b> with its association with top-class<\/b> saloons<\/b> and sports<\/b> cars<\/b>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
