{"id":1823,"date":"1997-01-15T22:09:24","date_gmt":"1997-01-15T20:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.italdesign.it\/project\/darts\/"},"modified":"2024-10-21T17:12:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T15:12:56","slug":"darts","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.italdesign.it\/en\/project\/darts\/","title":{"rendered":"d&#8217;Arts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Daewoo d\u2019Arts: an ultra-deluxe version of the Matiz<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Daewoo Matiz<\/b>, created on the basis of the 1992 <b>Lucciola<\/b> prototype, went into production in 1998 and went on to become a <b>long seller <\/b>during the course of its 10 year life span.<\/p>\n<p>1997 saw the production of the <b>d\u2019Arts<\/b>, an <b>ultra-deluxe preseries outfit<\/b>. The two-tone bodywork was enhanced by <b>chrome inserts <\/b>on the <b>wheel arch<\/b>, <b>bumper<\/b>, <b>grille<\/b>, <b>handles<\/b> and <b>door mirrors<\/b>. This theme was resumed inside on the glass holders and ventilation outlets while the <b>steering wheel <\/b>was <b>leather-trimmed<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>spoked wheels <\/b>were a homage to the <b>sports cars <\/b>of the 1940s. The standard overproduction <b>engine<\/b> was a 796 cc, 56 hp 3 cylinder unit, ideal for driving around town with an <b>eco-friendly
