Italdesign partners with Audi for engineering development of the new Q2<\/p>\n
Audi\u2019s new SUV<\/strong> has an Italian heart. In fact, Italdesign<\/strong> partnered with Audi <\/strong>for the engineering development<\/strong> of the Q2 project.<\/strong><\/p>\n Reciprocal and profitable collaboration was established between Moncalieri and Ingolstadt for the engineering development<\/strong> of the Q2: from concept development <\/strong>to feasibility<\/strong> and style studies<\/strong>; from the definition of the surfaces to the development of the upper body<\/strong> and the interiors<\/strong> \u2013 also handling the aerodynamics<\/strong>, air conditioning<\/strong> and thermal management<\/strong>; from electrical and electronic<\/strong> integration<\/strong>, to passive<\/strong> and active<\/strong> safety<\/strong> all the way to testing<\/strong> and validation<\/strong>, both virtual<\/strong> and physical<\/strong>, as well as static<\/strong> and dynamic<\/strong> vehicle<\/strong> performance assessment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Italdesign is also providing support for Audi after the start of production.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Italdesign<\/strong> Nichelino plant, just a few kilometers from the Moncalieri headquarters, has already seen the production of more than seventy rolling prototypes<\/strong>, necessary to validate the project and for testing in accordance with approval standards and global ratings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The car that became a milestone in automotive history and marked a new beginning for Volkswagen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2633,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"project-brand":[42],"project-category":[169],"class_list":["post-15205","project","type-project","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","project-brand-volkswagen","project-category-automotive"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
