Extreme, hydrogen-powered dream car built along aeronautical lines.<\/p>\n

The dream machine<\/b> introduced at the Geneva motor show <\/b>in 2007 touches on a niche topic that is bound to provoke discussion: An extreme hydrogen-powered two-seater super-sports car<\/b>.<\/p>\n

This is Italdesign<\/b>\u2019s response to a pressing need<\/b> to promote and develop<\/b> alternative<\/b> and eco-friendly propulsion systems <\/b>and explore the potentials offered to design<\/b> by a more flexible<\/b> deployment of the new engine<\/b>, mechanical<\/b> and electronic systems<\/b> in the chassis layout.<\/p>\n

Trivia<\/p>\n

The acronym \u201cVAD.HO<\/b>\u201d is a play on words that uses the name of the Vad\u00f2 industrial area in Moncalieri where Italdesign\u00a0<\/b>headquarters have been located since 1974, and also refers to the hydrogen propulsion system <\/b>adopted for the vehicle<\/b> (vado \u2013 or \u201cI go\u201d in Italian \u2013 on H).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
