The unique, long lasting 40+ year-partnership shared with DeLorean Motor Company<\/strong> comes out shaped as a \u2018reimagined\u2019, electric car<\/strong> featuring gullwing doors and the distinctive Italdesign styling appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith DeLorean – said Andrea Porta, Italdesign Business Development Manager – we\u2019re working on a car that is the authentic expression of all the services Italdesign is well-known for on an international level. Starting from the styling, as we are official partner<\/strong>,\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Historically, the DeLorean-Italdesign relationship goes back to November 1974, when Italdesign was entrusted to work on a very ambitious project: a 2-seater, rear-engined, sports car almost exclusively aimed at the American market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future was never promised. Today, it is.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are very excited that the next evolution of the DeLorean brand will be represented by our storied partnership with Italdesign \u2013 stated Troy Beetz CMO, DeLorean – and a vehicle that will showcase our vision for the future<\/strong>,\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 result of this privileged collaboration will be premiered at the Pebble Beach Concours d\u2019Elegance, on August 21st, <\/strong>on display among vehicles representing the world automotive excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first step of this renewed collaboration is styling. Further information will be disclosed during the event at Pebble Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
