The RA-3 is a new type of diesel railbus born form the collaboration between Italdesign – that contributed
\nto the design of the train – and Metrovagonmash, a subsidiary of Transmashholding, that engineered the
\nunits.<\/p>\n

It is Italdesign solution for a perfect journey with a low passengers density on unelectrified railways .
\nWith a modern design and interiors, Railbus RA-3 is equipped with a passenger information system that
\ndisplays data about the route and the train movements, and with video surveillance, air conditioning and
\nenergy-saving LED lighting. RA-3 railbuses are also easily accessible for disabled passengers.
\nThe first units entered into service in August 2019 and now serves the routes of Central Suburban
\nPassenger Company, the largest regional passenger carrier in Russia. The operator becomes the first to use
