Bearing the chassis number #0001, the vehicle marks Italdesign\u2019s entry into the elite of limited-edition automakers with its Automobili Speciali (\u201cSpecial Cars\u201d) division.<\/p>\n Italdesign Automobili Speciali<\/strong> was created, on the one hand, to meet the requests of collectors and car enthusiasts interested in unique, ultra-exclusive, high-performance vehicles. On the other hand, Italdesign\u2019s division for Ultra Limited Series Production cars<\/strong> showcases Italdesign’s ability and full capability to offer other car manufacturers a service combining high-tech content with rich artisanal craftsmanship, for the production of their own limited-edition vehicles.<\/strong><\/p>\n Zerouno<\/strong>, featuring the same livery and configuration as the model unveiled at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, was delivered to Steven Lismont<\/strong>, an important automotive sector entrepreneur and car collector, from Belgium in the Italdesign Headquarter in Turin, where it was created and where it was tested and validated to ensure an outstanding vehicle performance.<\/p>\n Steven Lismont also had the opportunity to experience his new car\u2019s performance and characteristics for the first time, with a test drive of about 100 km<\/strong> around Italdesign\u2019s headquarters in Moncalieri. \u201cBased on same experience I wasn\u2019t expecting such a high-performance vehicle to be so easy and pleasant to drive\u201d – said the owner upon completing the mixed-route drive. \u201cIt’s a car that provides amazing sensations during sporty driving, but it’s also suitable for everyday use. This combination of craftsmanship, sportiness and every day usability makes the Zerouno<\/strong> unique..\u201d<\/p>\n The car was delivered to Steven Lismont by Italdesign’s CEO J\u00f6rg Astalosch<\/strong>, along with members of the company’s Management Committee and of the team that worked directly on the project. \u201cWe are proud to have Steven as our first customer and to start a legacy with him. His feedback during the development and production was extremely important. Based on his experience we improved the ZeroUno further. We are especially proud of the quality of its design, engineering and production, starting from the visuals, over the HMI design and functionality, to the interior material use and the vehicle performance.\u201d<\/p>\n The vehicle delivered is the first in the series of five Zerouno<\/strong> planned for production, which have all already been sold to collectors from different parts of the world.<\/p>\n Using a state of the art carbon-aluminum modular frame and a body made entirely out of carbon fiber, the ZeroUno is powered by a naturally aspirated Audi Sport V10 engine<\/strong>, with an intelligent all-wheel drive system and a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox.
