{"id":3306,"date":"2017-06-05T11:18:50","date_gmt":"2017-06-05T09:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.italdesign.it\/?p=3306"},"modified":"2017-06-13T09:55:36","modified_gmt":"2017-06-13T07:55:36","slug":"italdesign-3rd-turin-auto-show","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.italdesign.it\/en\/italdesign-3rd-turin-auto-show\/","title":{"rendered":"Italdesign at the 3rd Turin Auto Show"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Italdesign<\/strong> will be taking part to the t<strong>hird edition of \u201cSalone dell\u2019Auto di Torino \u2013 Parco Valentino\u201d with Pop.Up and Zerouno<\/strong>, the two projects which have internationally acclaimed during the last Geneva Motor Show.<\/p>\n<p>People visiting the <strong>open-air Turin motor show<\/strong> will have the chance to take a close look to Pop.Up, the concept for future mobility, for the four days of the exhibition. the three elements of the modular and multimodal concept will be displayed in Italdesign booth close to Ascari entrance \u2013 corso Massimo d\u2019Azeglio and corso Marconi.<\/p>\n<p>Developed in collaboration with airspace industry leader <strong>Airbus<\/strong>, Pop.Up consists of a three layers concept:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an <strong>Artificial Intelligence platform<\/strong> that, based on its user knowledge, manages the travel complexity offering alternative usage scenarios and assuring a seamless travel experience;<\/li>\n<li>a vehicle shaped as a <strong>passenger capsule<\/strong> designed to be coupled with two different and independent electric propelled modules (the ground module and the air module). Other public means of transportation (e.g. trains or hyperloops) could also integrate the Pop.Up capsule;<\/li>\n<li>an <strong>interface module<\/strong> that dialogues with users in a fully virtual environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> Saturday 10 Zerouno<\/strong> test car will take part to the \u201cGran Premio\u201d, a rally among Turin\u2019s roads that will end in the wonderful Palazzina di caccia in Stupinigi. It\u2019s a real world-debut on road for Zerouno, the first ultra-limited series to be produced under Italdesign\u2019s new brand \u201cAutomobili Speciali\u201d. The car will be produced in only five units, for five exclusive and lucky car collectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abAfter the presentation in Geneva \u2013 <strong>Filippo Perini, Head of Innovation Design<\/strong>, said \u2013 Zerouno will debut on road here in Turin. We ran static and dynamic tests in the past months and we\u2019re happy we can take the car in the city for the first time. This very model is not one of the five to be sold but it has been built to perform those tests necessary to achieve the homologation to legally run on the street.
