Italdesign is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic engineer willing to join a great opportunity of an international experience in Germany and Italy: you will start learning all the instruments, procedures and technical aspects by our German site in Ingolstadt to come back to Moncalieri (Turin) after circa one year.

You will be employed in the NVH and Acoustic team, part of the Whole Vehicle Development department of Italdesign.

You will be responsible to reach the targets of the assigned field of development.

Responsibilities

  • Whole vehicle NVH and Acoustic Project Management:
    • Project coordination acoustics;
    • Complaint management;
    • Acoustic package and component status and release management;
  • Acoustic package definition (insulation and dampers):
    • Package definition;
    • SAE Simulations;
    • Support in package definition and component’s specification sheet creation;
    • NVH and acoustic test definition, scheduling and analysis of their results;
  • Exhaust system, powertrain and chassis acoustic:
    • Target setting;
    • Layout definition;
    • Test definition, execution and analysis of their results methodologies;
    • Pre-series production support;
    • System and component release management.

Requirements

Key requirements

  • Knowledge of whole vehicle and component acoustics;
  • Knowledge in Automotive industry material and new technologies;
  • At least 5 years of experience in vehicle acoustic;
  • Good relationship and team working is mandatory to ensure the proper coordination tasks required by the position;
  • Convincing and asserting skills mandatory;
  • Ability to effectively communicate timelines and project progress to internal and external management levels;
  • Knowledge Catia and HBK Connect;
  • Knowledge of DMU.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Other Information

  • Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering;
  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English and German are required; knowledge of Italian would be appreciated;
  • Workplace: first period in Ingolstadt (Germany) and back to Moncalieri (TO, Italy) after circa one year;
