This Nikon's binocular had enough force to bring Japan's average consumer age from the 40s to the 20s

When asked to design binoculars, Giugiaro Design apparently did not retrieve the idea from the optical characteristics of the lenses which constitute the basic requirements for engineergin design. Instead, the V-Line concept emerged from a fundamental revision of binuculars as tools which are operated with both hand while being supported at the location of the human eyes.

The relatively small-sized binoculars (magnifications of x8 and x10) wheigh approximately 400 grams. This light weight allows the binoculars to be easily held by light pressure at the fingertips.
