Giugiaro designs the Italy-Mexico award
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico hosted on November 18th the second edition of the Italia-Mexico award. The prize intends to enhance the role and visibility of the Italian presence in Mexico, consolidating the Italian Community and strengthening the Italian image by means of future entrepreneurial activities in Mexico.
Giugiaro Design accepted with great enthusiasm the invitation to design the award thru which the Chamber of Commerce recognizes the Italian entrepreneurial excellence in Mexico. The sculpture symbolizes the strong connection developed by the two nations, the economical and social ties, represented by a silhouette of two hands featuring such powerful union.
The clean and sinuous shapes, the treatment of the surfaces and the materials, they all suggest the idea of pure industrial design concept, one of the top fields of the made in Italy, varying from the iconography of the more classical trophies.
