Okamura Luce awarded at the 2011 Japan Good Design Award

The ergonomic chair designed by Giugiaro Design for the japanese company Okamura, world leader in office and domestic furnitre, has got the the prestigious award in the Office, shop and display equipment category. Luce is the last project realized by Giugiaro Design amongst the pluriennal collaboration with the Japanese Company, inauugrated in 2003 with the super awarded Contessa.
Established in 1957, the Good Design Award is a comprehensive program for the evaluation and encouragement of design organized by Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). Each year the JDP chooses winners out of approximately 3,000 entries from companies all over the world. The top designs are screened and nominated by 60 of the top design experts.
