Giugiaro Design at the 2011 Paris Air Show

Giugiaro Design at the 49th Paris Space and Air Show, possibly the world's largest aviation and space event bringing together international key players in Le Bourget, during 6 days, from June 20th through to 26th.
The Paris Air Show represents the occasion to display the first outcome of the collaboration between Giugiaro Design and ATR, French leading regional turboprop manufacturer: . the first commercial ATR 72-600 equipped with a new avionics suite and with a totally redesigned cabin, ARMONIA, developed by Giugiaro Design and considered the widest and most comfortable in regional aircraft market.
ARMONIA's attractively and cleanly styled seats, ceiling, side panels and overhead bins make the cabin more spacious, airy and comfortable. ARMONIA also uses lightweight materials, reducing its total weight by the equivalent of two passengers.
Put on show, underneath the ATR-600's wing, also the concept car Giugiaro Vad.HO, the 2007 futuristic show car featuring very aeronautical lines.
Giugiaro Design has been involved in many important corporate aircraft, train, ship and motorcycle design projects. The ATR-600 ARMONIA cabin further widen the experience of Giugiaro Design in the in aerospace and aircraft fields where it operates since the 90s with partners such as Alitalia, Alenia, Piaggio Aero and Augusta Westland.
