Premiered during the 2011 Frankfurt IAA, open throug to September the 25th, the up! azzurra sailing team had the honour to host onboard German Chancelor Angela Merkel, here in the picture together with Dr. Martin Winterkorn, President of Volkswagen Group.
up! azzurra sailing team is the tribute Giorgetto Giugiaro and Walter de Silva designed as a "Mediterranean" hommage to the new Volkswagen project. More than just a prototye up! azzurra sailing team is a link between the heritages of Italian yachts and German automobiles.
