The Quaranta starring the new Corona Extra commercial

2010 July 26
An atypical leading character for a TV spot. A surprising experience of real life. A real Roman cab driver finds unexpectedly that his car has been replaced with a futurist prototype, an amazing luxury sports car. This happened last May in Rome.

The concept is conceived for the last Corona Extra beer's commercial. Taxi's passengers on the commercial are real. To record the spontaneous reactions of the passengers hidden cameras have been used. The main character, a real taxi driver called Ercole, has cruised the streets of Rome - Piazza di San Pedro, Vatican Museums, the Roman Coliseum and el Largo de Torre Argentina- surprising the citizens that have seen this taxi and that have decided to step inside this amazing car to take a ride. The last customer of this unusual journey will also be extraordinary.

Ercole, for sure, will be surprised again. This campaign was born with the idea to make people accomplice of the wonderful small moments that happen every day all over the world, and it has been created by Spanish advertising agency JWT Delvico. The types of experiences portrayed are the result of a way to enjoy life with a different and exciting attitude, which is the essence of Corona Extra brand.

The "Extraordinary Taxi" film will be on air in 12 European countries, including Italy on MTV channel, and may well also be seen in its long version at www.coronaextra.eu.
