Italdesign Deutschland is expanding its engineering activities in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Within the international ADAS team you will work on concept and function development of a new generation of TSR Traffic-Control-Recognition systems to be integrated in a new domain-based E/E architecture for a new Premium BEV-vehicle platform. Main task is to develop a concept of new customer functions based on multiple traffic sign information including concepts for HMI solutions.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Evaluating availability and performance of existing detection systems for conventional traffic signs, stop-signs and traffic lights as well as navigation system based information.
  • Developing new concepts for functional architectures, system architectures
  • Developing HMI solutions to present traffic-control information to the driver
  • Implementation and testing of prototype solutions on existing vehicle platform
  • Later on developing series function solutions

 

 

Requirements

  • Automotive experience (OEM, Tier1, Tier 2) required
  • Knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, especially TSR systems preferred
  • Experience on understanding customers’ requirements
  • Experience in series functional development and ECU integration projects required
  • Experience in Systems-Engineering and Requirements Management using CAMEO, DOORS
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge in the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.)
  • Experience in development process and implementation along ISO26262
  • Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Valid driving license at least class B

Other Information

  • Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics
  • Language skills: Knowledge of written and spoken German (at least level B2/C1 ) is mandatory. Knowledge of written and spoken English (at least level B2) is required. Knowledge of Italian would be appreciated
  • Workplace: Ingolstadt, availability to travel.
